JOB TITLE: Layout Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Layout Engineer (REQ# 200605072) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Use computer assisted design (CAD) tools to implement and design to manufacturing specs the layout of Apple custom IP’s. Collaborate with a large team of Layout and circuit designers to establish methodologies and flows for high quality QA. Drive the implementation of specific design blocks according to spec on time. Study new technologies and their impact on layout. Design complex layout for mixed signal and digital circuits in deep SubMicron CMOS (complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor) technologies. Evaluate the design efforts and provided detailed execution plan. Use Engineering knowledge to assemble layout designs that minimize Resistance and Capacitance of signals and achieve high frequency design. Interpretation of LVS, DRC and ERC reports to find and correct design flaws.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $162,244 - $205,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
