JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Engineering Project Manager (REQ# 200605146) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. As part of the Engineering Project Management (EPM) methodology team within Project Management and Infrastructure (PMI) Organization, responsibilities include HW-SW (Hardware-Software) integration methodology, automation infrastructure and execution for silicon programs to be an enabler for power and performance optimization. Responsibilities include HW-SW risk mitigation, meet product schedules and creation/sustenance of a scalable methodology to work for all of Apple's products. Prepare detailed plan for end-to-end data readiness for performance and power tuning for upcoming Systems on Chips (SoCs). Execute plan by collaborating with owners of Intellectual Property (IP) to conduct effective reviews on registers, which are key hardware elements of an SOC. Engage with IP owners to ensure that characterized chip values for performance and power for upcoming SoCs are within bounds. Collaborate with other EPMs and Silicon Validation team to analyze and review silicon related excursions and provide root cause and corrective actions. Collaborate with other EPMs and IP owners on an IP information database to hold and convey critical information. Conduct debriefs to learn lessons on technical misses. Develop new processes to scale across families of chips being developed in different geographical sites. Work with systems teams to improve processes for product specific data tuning for upcoming SOCs.

The base pay range for this role is between $136,300 - $205,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
