JOB TITLE: Hardware Systems Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Hardware Systems Engineer (REQ# 200606965) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Lead the design of Apple Home product’s development platform. Architect and implement the power distribution and hardware solution for automated testing, debugging features and long-term extensibility. Drive the layout including component placement, high-speed routing and signal integrity analysis by layout model extraction and simulation. Lead architecture, schematic and layout reviews for cross-functional users. Work with vendors for early-stage component qualification and optimize usage for audio subsystems. Design schematics and support test and development of sensor subsystems. Perform simulation and tolerance analysis for power systems to ensure reliability across operation modes. 10% international travel required.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
