Analyze system architecture requirements for upcoming laptop products and coordinating the integration of these components into a single, working device. Understand electrical theory as it applies to building high-speed digital systems. Understand the typical engineering processes that are required to mass produce electronic devices successfully. Performing component datasheet analysis and selection for schematic capture. Coordinate layout of highly constrained multilayer PCBs, including HDI and fine pitch BGAs. Forecasting and planning design time to meet constrained schedules. Drive design tradeoffs across manufacturing, test, thermal, performance, reliability, battery life, and electrical stakeholders. Work on prototype bring-up, debug, functional verification, and electrical characterization. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
