JOB TITLE: Image/Sensor/Power Architecture Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Image/Sensor/Power Architecture Engineer (REQ# 200609439) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design, architect and develop display hardware for consumer electronics. Envision novel ideas, concepts and/or applications for power efficiency and integrate into system with other subsystems such as touch, audio, antenna, etc. Perform detailed technical analysis and work with interdisciplinary teams to bridge technology gap between theory and implementable hardware, develop test & methodology specifications for pre/post silicon tape-out. Establish performance metrics and requirements through careful use of theory, models and experiments across devices, circuits, and human perception. Define display electrical hardware architecture including but not limited to system and panel interfaces, silicon partitioning and definition, integration with other subsystems, power on/off sequencing, display timing, connectivity and communication flows between ICs, and programmable. Analyze trade-offs between performance, manufacturability and cost. Deliver high-quality and thorough documentation for specifications and prepare presentations for cross-functional teams and executives. Explore new display technologies from electrical architecture, integration and feasibility standpoints

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
