JOB TITLE: Supply Demand Planner

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Supply Demand Planner (REQ# 200607611) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Plan worldwide AppleCare inventory for iPhone/Watch parts and execute weekly new buy and repair decisions. Provide planning directions to a team of regional planners around the execution of weekly Purchase Orders and weekly production schedules at the factory. Responsible for setting parameters to optimize inventory while minimizing inventory buy costs and maximizing repairs. Provide Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) production prioritization for future builds based on supply plans. Provide OEMs with a weekly updated forecast for the next 6 months of supply requirements. Responsible for Fill Rate, Backlog, Weeks of Supply, and forecast accuracy metrics. Review Clear To Build (CTB) and secure allocation of material when there is a shortage from different teams and suppliers. Review weekly demand trends with the demand planning team to plan for churn. Generate financial guidance and forecast for future quarters. Review Spend vs. Budget that has been reviewed and approved by AppleCare executive management. Identify inventory opportunities for AppleCare business such as seed stock for third parties and excess inventory for refurbished and as-is sales.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $223,538 - $258,700/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
