JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Technical Program Manager (REQ# 200614520) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Drive contract manufacturer preparation for pre-production engineering builds. Oversee production process development, documentation, optimization, and validation. Develop and implement new technologies to improve production quality, capacity, and efficiency. Set and monitor standard practices and independently scope the impact of different design approaches and process parameters to the final product. Direct, mentor, and provide resources to other engineering groups and project leaders as well as factory technicians. Lead multiple projects and participated in the project planning of major sub-projects. Provide early and ongoing manufacturing involvement to ensure the manufacturability of new products. Monitor all phases of a product from concept to repeat manufacturing to end of life. Provide production support engineering with respect to technically complex testing methods, procedures, and failure analysis. Design and develop technically complex processes to improve quality and efficiency. Plan, develop, and implement technically complex procedures for the testing and evaluation of soon-to-be-released products. Specify tests to be performed, compile data, and make recommendations for product design changes and final assembly standards, including the use of Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical analysis using Six Sigma principles. Provide regular VP-level communication of the technical health of the program. Direct and monitor manufacturing operations at multiple vendors and sites. International travel required 30%.

The base pay range for this role is between $208,250 - $236,700/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
