US Supply Planner (multiple openings)

TITLE:     US Supply Planner (multiple openings)
              
DUTIES:
Duties include generating analysis to assist in understanding risks in project delivery schedules; partnering with Delivery Managers to provide flexible and responsive schedules to support project requirements; supporting material diversions and returns and maintain a high level of data integrity in those activities; and supporting ad hoc analysis of supply vs demand and constrained product allocations. Analyze data and methods to predict and improve Nextracker's delivery of products and services to our customers. Partner with planning, finance, and project management to track and improve both material and logistics costs on Nextracker projects. Ensure data integrity of supply chain planning data and management of the data flow and analyze the project pipeline to ensure Bill of Materials and allocation strategy conforms to manufacturing capabilities.

5-10% domestic travel to vendor and customer sites. Quarterly domestic travel for supplier visits to sync on production schedules, capacity, quality, relationship building and related matters, as well as customer sites visits to understand applications. Geographic scope potentially includes CA, TX, KY, NY, NJ, AZ, NC, and TN. No international travel is involved.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree* in business administration, management science, industrial engineering, supply chain, or a related field, or foreign degree equivalent; and 3 years of supply chain planning experience, including 3 years of experience with figures and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets; and 1 year of experience using Materials Resource Planning (MRP) software such as Anaplan and MS Excel.
 
Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable. *Employer will accept a Master’s degree in business administration, management science, industrial engineering, supply chain, or a related field, or foreign degree equivalent; and 1 year of supply chain planning experience, including 1 year of experience with figures and collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets; and 1 year of experience using Materials Resource Planning (MRP) software such as Anaplan and MS Excel in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in the above fields and 3 years of the above experience.

SALARY:                               $108,000-$138,000 per year

LOCATION:           40 hours/week in Fremont, CA (telecommuting one day per week permitted)
