JOB TITLE: Software Development Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer (REQ# 200618679) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Develop, prototype, and optimize image processing algorithms for Apple’s Camera App on iPhones and iPads. Contribute to Camera algorithms organization responsible for developing image processing algorithms for iPhones and iPad cameras. Write software for prototypes or test applications, performs on-device code, and does unit-test verification to validate the correctness of the on-device implementation.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 - $272,100/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
