DUTIES:               Splunk Inc. has an opening for Sr. Software Engineer in San Jose, CA, who will design and develop software for the customer identity and access management service for Splunk. Develop scalable, reliable solutions to serve the both internal and external customer identity requirements for the business. Develop enterprise identity services to manage and provide unified access to user identities. Understand and manage the current authentication mechanisms and design future state of SSO, federation and identity across applications. Design and develop automation for the configuration management of the platform to support CI/CD processes in Splunk. Develop and adopt best practices with respect to identity and access management for customers. Support and develop other software engineers through advice, coaching and educational opportunities. Develop and demonstrate scalable solutions by documentation, flowcharts, workflows, diagrams, code comments and clear code.
