Job Description: Provide technical oversight and support for Android mobile development team members regarding feature development. Provide strategic direction to application developers on how to adapt investment-related requirements to design and implementation of product features that support said requirements. Requires detailed understanding of financial industry. Perform first-level analysis and debugging of application crashes, performance issues and flaws to diagnose problems and recommend a technical solution that meets the firm SLA for uptime and usability.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Experience and/or education must include:

1. Architecting and developing networking and/or secure operations for Android Smartphones and Tablets
2. Advanced knowledge of Android components, Android SDK, GIT, Android Studio, asynchronous communications, RxJava, Gradle and testing APls like Espresso and Android JUnit and Mockito
3. Object Oriented Design
4. Building mobile applications that utilize web services such as HTTP based, XML, SOAP, JSON
