JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Senior Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California. Responsible for the design, development and deployment of sensor fusion algorithms. Research into sensor fusion and state estimation algorithms, with applications in SLAM, Calibration and Tracking. Develop and integrate multi-sensor real-time systems. Design and develop evaluation frameworks used for performance analysis. Analyze algorithmic performance, with detailed reporting, analysis and recommendations. Propose and down select new algorithmic developments based on analysis. Write code in C++ and Python. Perform code reviews, ensuring correctness and performance. As an individual contributor, lead projects involving multiple engineers — direct the work of other engineers to achieve project goals. Responsible for cross-functional efforts to achieve program wide goals.
