JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Engineer Applications in Cupertino, CA and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and develop software to detect anomalies, correlate events, predict future behavior to improve the performance of the Apple Edge infrastructure. Develop software to maintain, fix and automate Apple's CDN. Perform distributed infrastructure debugging and maintenance. Perform data science analytics using tools. Analyze statistical qualitative and quantitative data. Work with data processing pipelines such as Kafka, Spark and Hadoop. Develop custom visualization with D3.js and related charting tools. Build custom web application to present information and capture user input. Experiment with machine learning algorithms to better detect anomalies in the system. Travel required 15%
