JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California. Design and build robust and scalable data platform to handle large data analysis and near-real time tracking for various Apple media products including Apple TV, Apple Music and App Store. Design and build high-performance REST API services supporting critical functionalities across different Apple media products teams. Perform multi-threaded programming in real-time large-scale systems. Build highly performant and self-serviced data infrastructure services, which provide structured and unstructured storage, caching, and queueing. Diagnose, fix, improve, and automate complex issues across large software systems to ensure maximum uptime and performance. Build robust and easy-to-use libraries with solid integration into existing complex Apple software. Collaborate with other Apple teams creating services, infrastructure platforms and pipelines that can rapidly scale, serve and process data with very low latency. Review software source code to identify defects and performance issues. Write proper documentation on software designs, software logics, troubleshooting guidelines, performance guidelines.
