JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer Manager in Cupertino, CA and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Lead a team of senior and junior software engineers to build backend software sub-systems for Apple Pay. Lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and deliver the Dispute Management System for Apple’s Issuer Core processor. Collaborate with business, technical program managers, and other cross team engineering managers to gather product requirements and strategize product execution. Communicate and ensure all the necessary stakeholders are aware of project status, risk, and timeline. Ensure projects undertaken by the team are delivered to the highest quality by conducting code reviews, facilitating in design reviews, and creating high standards for code quality.  Recruit and hire industry’s top talent to execute on the necessary functionality needed for meeting the department business goals. Provide maintenance and support for the production system. Oversee the team’s use of technologies such as Java, SpringBoot, AWS, Kafka, Oracle, and Temporal.io. Lead the Agile process of the development team, insuring close collaboration with QA and TPMs.
