JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California. Design and implement the compiler backend for Apple Silicon GPUs. Design and implement ISA support for the backend compiler. Debug and verify that the ASM output produced by the compiler is functionally correct. Design and build tools that help visualize and identify bottleneck in compiler performance. Analyze HW specs and provide feedback to Architects. Design and develop compiler optimizations to improve performance of graphics and compute workloads. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence the HW architecture.
