JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer - Test in Cupertino, CA. Diagnose Cellular Protocol and system-level crashes and stability issues originating from cellular labs and field testing. Screen for and debug issues reported from Certification Test, IOT and field tests. Work closely with internal development team, radio stack vendor, certification and field test, and carrier support teams to improve the performance and modem stability of products. Provide input to development team on failure scenarios and suggest potential software fixes. Drive continuous cellular performance by proposing optimizations to iPhone/iPad software. Perform Field and Functional test campaigns through in-depth log analysis using various tools and code walk-throughs.
