IT Internal Audit, Managing Director:  Federal Home Loan Bank San Francisco

Job Duties:

• Responsible for providing strategic and technical leadership to the information technology (IT) audit function under the direction of the Chief Audit Executive. 
• Lead the annual risk assessment and corresponding planning process, supervise and develop IT audit team, oversee the preparation and issuance of audit reports to executive management and Board of Directors. 
• Establish business relationships with Bank leaders communicate regarding risk assessments, audit results, and significant control matters.
• Develop and execute IT audit engagements of varying sizes and complexities. 
• Provide an independent appraisal of internal controls by examining, evaluating, and verifying risk management processes, operating procedures, information systems controls, and recorded data, and communicate audit results for appropriate actions.
• Evaluate compliance with applicable regulations and IT industry standards.
• Develop, lead, and implement audit best practices to meet the Bank’s complex and evolving IT environment. 

Job Requirements: Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Information Systems, or a related field plus 3 years of experience as an IT Internal Audit Manager, Senior Manager, IT Risk and Assurance, Senior Manager, or a related position.  Experience must include:

Planning, leading, and executing IT internal audit engagements, conducting risk assessments, developing work programs including deadlines and internal audit methodology related documents for financial organizations.

Analyzing existing processes, providing recommendations, developing implementation roadmaps, and assisting with implementation activities including software development, cloud computing, mobile security, information security, privacy, and application development based on regulatory guidance and industry frameworks (including FFIEC, ISO 27002, NIST, COBIT).

Project management, including developing, maintaining, and reporting on project plans, resources to support the plan, budgets to actuals, estimated time of completion,

Working with businesses and IT groups to understand how IT systems are used in accordance with established policies, processes, and controls to ensure solutions meet compliance and security objectives, scale with the business and improve operational efficiencies.

Creating risk assessments for banking and assessing control framework against the COBIT standards
