Job Title: Staff Software Engineer

Job Description: Onboard and configure logs monitoring utilizing Splunk and Azure Log analytics. Administer, optimize, and automate monitoring tool capabilities utilizing NewRelic, Azure Monitor, Splunk, Nagios, Grafana and Graphite. Partner with Product Engineering Teams to implement monitoring solutions efficiently across GapTech. Support GapTech goals and milestones by partnering with architects, engineers, infosec and vendors to strategize, define and rollout solutions. Work from HQ address and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA, including working from home. Telecommuting acceptable. 

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration  or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Experience and/or education must include: 

1. Splunk and Azure Log analytics;
2. NewRelic, Azure Monitor, Nagios, Grafana and Graphite;
3. APM Experience;
4. Cloud Experience;
5. Vendor Management;
6. Project Management;
7. Configuration Management; and
8. Agile/Scrum Experience.

Job Location:     2 Folsom Street, San Francisco, CA 94105 (San Francisco County) & various unanticipated locations throughout the USA, including telecommuting
