Motive Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for its San Francisco, California office.

Job Duties: Write scalable, secure, maintainable code that powers the platform that connects the world’s trucks. Build software components and services that will be used across product initiatives. Manage and improve the performance and reliability of software services including databases, web services, and other integrations by using relational and NoSQL databases. Build and manage cloud infrastructure and distributed systems. Determine the technical feasibility of software features in collaboration with the product team. Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus three years of experience in: Software development using languages such as Python, Scala, or Java; relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, or Cassandra; and Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
