JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and develop software for authentication systems and audit tools; this will include designing the database schema, types and vendors. Design and implement systems and processes for scalable, reliable, and secure software. Design and implement tools for the auditing of network devices and systems. Design and build APIs; responsible for performing audits of devices and systems, completing analysis, and publishing results via an API. Complete analysis of network devices, including analysis of access controls lists (ACLs), firewall rules and routing infrastructure across multiple vendors and platforms; the analysis will identify deviations against a set of standards and compliance directives. Identifying areas for improvement of security, such as streamlining change management, creating scripts to automate routing tasks, such as linux administration, collection of data from available APIs. Deliver automation and continuous monitoring throughout the lifecycle of apps from integration and testing phases to delivery and deployment using various tools.
