TITLE: Data Analyst

Job Description:  Research and resolve data issues and discrepancies. Work directly with application users and enterprise data team to understand and resolve issues. Perform root cause analysis when assessing issues. Research, develop, and implement appropriate resolutions to ensure data quality and integrity. Communicate resolution options with clear and concise language appropriate for each audience. Fulfill ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests. Prioritize requests. Coordinate with clients to confirm requirements. Provide results with attention to detail and accuracy. Design and maintain data systems and databases; this includes fixing coding errors and other data-related problems. Mine data from primary and secondary sources, then reorganizing data in a format that can be easily read by all team members. Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts. Prepare reports for executive leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data. Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance. Create appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.

Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
