JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineers in Cupertino, California. Design and develop test infrastructure, tools and frameworks for testing software, services, data platforms and applications. Execute all the activities of Software Test Life Cycle for ongoing projects, such as requirement analysis, Test Planning, Test Case Development, Test Environment Setup, Test Data Setup, Test Execution, Defect Logging and Tracking, and Test Reporting. Integrate the testing infrastructure with the continuous integration and continuous deployment systems to ensure all of the tools, services developed are properly tested and meet the quality goals. Review the project requirements, design and code to provide feedback, recommend improvements and help with functional and performance testing of the systems under development. Write different types of tests, such as Unit, Integration, and Acceptance tests for existing and new projects to ensure bug free software is delivered per requirements. Stay knowledgeable of new testing tools and strategies and evaluate the technologies to incorporate into the projects. Develop regression test suites to ensure the existing functionality works fine as the projects evolve. Develop and execute test strategy, test plans, test cases, test scripts and procedures for both manual and automated testing.
