JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures such as software test and delivery technology for algorithmic search, machine learning, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential issues by collaborating with the teams building the most scalable AI/ML systems in existence. Design and automate test cases to validate large-scale, complex software systems, including white and black box tests, and develop test tools using Apache Ant, Apache Subversion SVN, COBOL, etc. Write and maintain code and frameworks to verify the correctness of software and data while assisting in the test and delivery of massive search-based Internet services. Write automated tests for high-performance and Internet scale services to improve and create more efficient ways to ship code at Apple’s extremely high standard of quality. Participate in verification of frequent product releases by working closely with software engineers on technical issues related to the development of complex, large-scale systems. $161,000.00 - $242,000.00/yr.
