JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineer in Cupertino, California. Responsible for Performing high speed power and performance measurements on consumer reference devices as black boxes. Connect consumer devices to a Keysight UXM call box, verify functional behavior and baseline performance, adapt test cases where necessary. Gather electrical power measurements from those consumer devices concurrent with call box operation and building a dashboard of power consumption metrics. Investigate features or findings as necessary discovered in the process of working. Troubleshoot issues with devices connecting independently, working with Keysight and vendors to resolve problems as they occur. Calibrate and manage RF test and measurement lab setups including chambers, shield boxes, test box, RF combiners/ faders, and racks. Track baseband software versions and performance/power regression testing against software builds. Direct lab technicians and lab engineers as necessary to fix/troubleshoot reworked devices and experimental prototypes. Communicate findings and new information in appropriate forums. $130,000.00  - $196,500.00/yr.
