JOB DESCRIPTION: Apple Inc. has multiple positions available for Software Development Engineers in Cupertino, California. Investigate and resolve software bugs in web applications including Notes and Reminders, and the underlying framework. Design and develop new features for web applications and frameworks. Work with partner teams to review and integrate server APIs with the web client, and ensure compatibility. Write tests and automation to ensure desired application behavior, and prevent regressions. Improve the performance of web applications by optimizing architecture, separating concerns, and deleting unused and outdated code. Monitor and prioritize incoming bugs and feature requests.  Organize and schedule these tasks and communicate them to management. Mentor more junior engineers through pair programming, pull request reviews, and one on ones. Schedule and delegate project needs to communicate to leadership and meet release deadlines. Demo code changes and new features to fellow engineers and company leadership. Act as domain expert on our custom framework technical stack, providing guidance and troubleshooting for partner teams. $161,000-$242,000/yr.
