TITLE: Senior Application Analyst

Location: 560 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA 94105; Telecommuting permissible
from any location in the US

Salary: $131,498.00 /yr - $170,900.00 /yr

Job Description: Analyze the application logic and provide impact documentation on a
change or defect for fixes from the developer. Gather requirements for a change or defect
fix that is requested by the business team. Create test plan to execute unit testing,
segment testing, regression testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and
checkout. Create test cases for multiple testing phases and enter in Jira for execution
tracking. Capture and report test rules in Jira and create and track defects to closure for
any defects found in different testing phases. Perform application technical checkout and
confirm functionalities that are changed and unchanged. Work with teams to identify
process improvement opportunities and recommend for implementation. Participate in
Agile ceremonies and complete all necessary Agile tasks. Telecommuting permissible
from any location in the U.S.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science,
Accounting, Business, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job
offered or a related role. Alternatively, company will accept a master’s degree or foreign
degree equivalent in Computer Science, Accounting, Business, or a related field and two
(2) years of experience in the job offered or a related role. Any suitable combination of
education, training, or experience is acceptable.
Experience and/or education must include:
1. Claims configuration and testing, Formworks workflow including: Metavance
claims system configuration, claims test scenarios, and testing execution in
environment; creating multiple use case documentation; claims end-to-end
workflow and intake system; pre-processing rules; creating test cases and using
Jira/Zephyr; using Agile methodology to execute projects and maintain/enhance
applications; working with data de-identified environments and creating and
executing tests with various data sets; supporting production and collaboration
with vendor and external teams for issue resolution; and executing testing related
to technology currency efforts and system upgrades;
2. Healthcare system knowledge including member, provider and claims entities;
using SQL scripts to create reports and/or perform data manipulation for testing
purposes; CDT/Peak period configuration changes or updates related to claims
testing; and
3. Analysis of Formworks projects, enhancements, and production issues including
running SQL queries in MS SQL DB in the Formworks application; analyzing
event, server, and system logs to ensure operability and security, reviewing
relevant documentation of previous system configuration to assess technical
feasibility, and reviewing Formworks vendor (FIS) documentation.
