Motive Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its San Francisco, California office.

Job Duties: Build APIs/services that integrate with payment platforms for processing transactions from customers; build integration with payment platforms, processing transactions with high reliability, generating invoice, and processing payments from Motive customers; build and scale data models and improve system performance; build and make scalable design choices for API interfaces to work across internal and external applications and services; build appropriate monitoring, logging, debugging for the health of the system; actively work on our AWS cloud infrastructure. Telecommuting permitted.

Minimum requirement: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Three years of experience in: Building product infrastructure, distributed systems and data models; Relational and NoSQL databases; Building for Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure or private clouds; Building appropriate monitoring, logging, debugging for the health of the system; and Building and scale data models. 

Alternative requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in: Building product infrastructure, distributed systems and data models; Relational and NoSQL databases; Building for Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure or private clouds; Building appropriate monitoring, logging, debugging for the health of the system; and Building and scale data models.

Salary: $215,197 to $259,325 per year
