Motive Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer - Backend.

Job Duties: Build new financial software products, including APIs/services that integrate with payment platforms for processing transactions; working on team to build our financial stack and deliver best-in-class reliability and performance for payment transactions; build integration with payment platforms; build and scale data models and improve system performance; build and make scalable design choices for API interfaces to work across internal and external applications and services; build software that improves the cost of running a service in production, reduces iteration time; build appropriate monitoring, logging, debugging for the health of the system; actively work on our AWS cloud infrastructure; build product infrastructure, distributed systems and data models, as well as Ruby on Rails, Go Lang, Java, Javascript/Node.js or similar language; work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Cassandra; build for Cloud Infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, Azure or private clouds. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Two years of experience in: Software development using Java or a similar language; RESTful APIs; and Relational Databases and data models

Salary: $147,000 to $216,848 per year
