Manager - Financial Analytics and Derivatives (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, San Jose, CA. Provide customized valuations of complex securities across the capital markets spectrum, as well as risk management and hedging assessments. Use sophisticated models and analytical skills to value complex financial instruments and design strategies to reduce client risk and maximize opportunities. Evaluate business plans and company strategies against market performance and competitor strength, to deliver commercial appraisals. Help clients to ensure maximum value for their company. Assist companies originate, create, execute and realize value from deals. Supervise and coach teams.

 

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.  Salary $147,514 - $147,514/yr.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Financial Engineering, Information Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

 

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Financial Engineering, Information Management, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

 

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

 

  • Working with valuation models using option pricing theory, Monte Carlo simulation, binomial trees, contingent claims analysis, and other financial engineering techniques;
  • Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex data, such as market and competitor analysis (market sizing, drivers and dynamics), customer analysis and internal analysis (strategic analysis, business model reviews, and financials); and,
  • Working with project teams and engagements that focus on at least two of the following: financial modelling, derivatives, securities valuation, or risk management.

 

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

 

Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 80% required.
