JOB TITLE: Tools & Automation Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Tools & Automation Engineer (REQ# 200602718) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Test video codecs software, develop tools and test applications for video quality. Perform regression tests on pre-submission Firmware and Drivers on iOS devices. Develop Python scripts for automation testing on iOS devices. Design test plans and test matrix for new software features on iOS devices. Script data collecting and data training. Analyze and debug defect issues. Maintain continuous integration on automation racks. Run functionality, stability, and performance tests on iOS devices. Perform power measurements on PCB boards. Collaborate and coordinate between teams. Assess and tune video quality.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
