JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer – Applications Manager (REQ# 200604289) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Manage a team responsible for developing computer information resources by completing the Rendering Stack in a manner that satisfies the goals of managed content, the development ecosystem, and services integration. Direct the daily operations of team and set the deadlines to efficiently build the stack and wider ecosystem that other development teams will eagerly embrace and adopt. Review project plans with team to plan and coordinate project activity alongside the tools and practices to implement and maintain them for data security and control. Partner with internal and external partners for planning, execution, and ongoing support. Collaborate and influence architectural designs and team execution to meet business requirements and technical strategies. Participate in proof-of-concept projects to vet technology choices and approaches for strategic computing. Document and present findings, research and engineering plans with partners and internal customers to ensure improvements and upgrades in software and hardware. Establish development relationships across other Apple engineering teams in concert with broader tech strategies.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $228,668 - $329,600/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
