JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer (REQ# 200603919) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Build and support critical infrastructural systems and frameworks, provide and support services like structured and unstructured storage, caching, queueing and searching. Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain Big Data applications. Perform code reviews and write JUnits (Java unit testing frameworks). Work with cross functional teams to gather requirements for Big Data applications. Provide performance tuning for Big Data applications. Apply algorithmic techniques to ensure quick run times for applications. Build Big Data applications to process Petabytes of Data for Privacy and Compliance efforts.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,534 - $264,200/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
