JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer - Test (REQ# 200605747) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design, develop, and patent the next generation of Apple state-of-the art connectivity technologies. Collaborate across departments to help craft wireless solutions that elevate the customer experience with Apple products and services. Work hands-on, relying upon diagnostics, analytics, lab experimentations as well as code and architecture review to exploit the opportunities for improvement. Work with platform architecture, standardization, firmware and protocol development, system test and carrier engineering teams to drive improvement proposals and baseband optimizations. Ensure the most robust and customer friendly software in all aspects of Protocol software - PHY, RF, SIM, NAS, AS, IP, TCP/UDP and iOS interfaces. Conduct wireless system testing, certification, IOT and Cellular System Performance. Define, develop and validate cellular modem system test cases for mobile devices using popular test development platforms. Use Python to Test Automation and Script.

The base pay range for this role is between $172,931 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
