JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for ASIC Design Engineer (REQ# 200606694) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop and support component libraries for Apple technologies, including configuring and testing hard IPs. Write scripts using Perl, TCL, Python, and etc. to enhance, debug, or extend the QA flow. Support, use, and maintain CAD/EDA tools including Innovus, HSPICE, Virtuoso, Verilog simulation software, etc. Develop infrastructure to support design work in new process technologies. Write QA checks specific to process technology and monitor the flow status for end users. Set up Quality Assurance Tests against the views generated by the EDA tools. Utilize data collection, analysis, and reporting tools to provide methodology insights. Write scripts in python/perl/shell to make the QA flow more robust. Use industry-leading tools to visualize the flow to end-users in the form of dashboards and interactive reports. Protect IP-related data through building software programs that flag violations. Maintain good relationship with end-users, constantly answering questions with regards to issues they encountered when using in-house and vendor tools.

The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
