JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer (REQ# 200606695) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Collect and analyze performance, thermals, acoustics and power data on Mac and competitor HW/SW. Uncover problem areas, perform root cause analysis and analyze competitors to identify areas of potential optimizations. Drive optimizations by collaborating and presenting findings to cross-functional teams, including senior management. Define and develop automated tests and testing infrastructure for different operating systems and hardware using various programming and scripting languages as needed.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
