JOB TITLE: Software Development Engineer - Systems

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer - Systems (REQ# 200606703) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Build tools to process and manage data from a wide range of computer vision systems. Analyze and research deep learning infrastructure and distributed systems design and principles. Design and implement Application Programming Interface (API) to extract and share data. Monitor the performance of existing systems and cloud computing platforms. Perform Export Transform Load (ETL) pipeline development and organize data and prepare it for data analytics and machine learning (ML). Provide the data foundation for a highly collaborative team of hardware, user experience, and deep learning experts. Execute deliverables and abstract these details into platform-level software solutions. Source control code management through Github. Utilizing Presto/Parquet and log technologies for storage and analysis. Implement machine learning models for library development. Use Jenkins/Argo and other technologies for deployment and stability of services in multi-cloud.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
