Measure, analyze and forecast EA's infrastructure capacity, footprint and resource utilization, for both on-premise data centers and public cloud. Track, support key Infrastructure cost and usage. Closely collaborate with Finance FP&A, studio partners, and others to help teams understand, plan and manage their costs. Build and maintain Airflow pipelines for Monthly Allocation & Chargeback. Implement complex and highly scalable end-to-end data pipelines using several big data technologies. Hourly and daily Batch extraction, loading, and transformation of data are utilized to ensure the data delivery has met the SLA across the board. Building scalable, accurate, and extensible stream processing applications to support EA’s real-time analytics. Provide ad-hoc support to address urgent infrastructure-related issues, troubleshoot data anomalies, and respond to unforeseen data engineering challenges as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research or a related field, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a data engineer-related occupation.
Qualifying experience must include at least six (6) of the following(which may be gained concurrently):
• Program languages: Python and Java;
• Database technologies: SQLServer, DynamoDB, Mongo DB or similar;
• Big Data technologies: Spark, Kafka, Kinesis, or similar;
• Cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP;
• Data warehouses including Snowflake, Redshift or Hive;
• Data visualization tools and BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau or similar;
• ETL Orchestration tools including Airflow; and
• Containerization tools including Kubernetes and Docker.
Up to 10% domestic travel possible based on business need.
