JOB TITLE: Software Development Engineer - Test

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer - Test (REQ# 200607924) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design and develop manual test cases, automation evaluation pipelines, and analysis tooling of offline evaluation results for computer vision algorithms. Create and maintain code for algorithm evaluation pipelines on different platforms and devices to help characterize algorithm performance and aggressor. Develop metrics to characterize computer vision algorithms performance. Generate evaluation results on dashboards for algorithm failure analysis. Collaborate with developers to create and maintain latest plans on algorithm features and requirements. Deep-dive failure analysis and provide feedback on algorithm health to developers and program management. Curate dataset to be used for large-scale offline evaluation. Aid manual testing of algorithm performance on device.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,307 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
