JOB TITLE: Tools & Automation Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Tools & Automation Engineer (REQ# 200607911) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Own verification and validation strategies for embedded systems that run Health algorithms on watchOS and iOS devices by defining, implementing, and executing testing solutions to validate Firmware. Develop automation test scripts and libraries to test against the requirements of the feature definition and by creating robust and reusable test infrastructure code. Analyze and triage test results by parsing through logs and reproducing issues found in test failures. Work with Algorithm, SW, and FW development teams and Regulatory team to ensure timely delivery of quality product. Work cross-functionally to drive quality and communicate results. Write comprehensive test guidelines from engineering specifications and data sheets. Use diagnostic software and hardware to isolate and debug complex issues. Collaborate with developers to resolve low level issues. Analyze how new features or designs impact the customer experience.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,931 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
