JOB TITLE: Software Development Engineer - Applications

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer - Applications (REQ# 200607910) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines that gather factory calibration data and serve it to other engineers at Apple. Design, implement, and maintain full-stack tools that visualize Apple data, including factory calibration data and Apple devices. Design, implement, and maintain sensor calibration software that runs in Apple factories to calibrate sensors. Build data processing pipelines on Apple data centers for batch data processing. Perform research to explore machine learning approaches to solve computer vision problems at Apple. Work on infrastructure-related projects to parallelize calibration processes. Write documentation for all our software. Conduct code reviews for teammates to maintain to high-quality codebase.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,931 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
