JOB TITLE: Software Development Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer (REQ# 200606586) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop NAND flash management software in C. Design system architecture to create new functionality to support new hardware and improve the reliability of storage systems. Measure and optimize software performance to achieve product goals. Debug storage-related issues across hardware, drivers, and applications. Develop solutions to internal and customer failures. Develop tools to improve internal development flows and increase team efficiency. Integrate storage software into future operating system releases and hardware products. Develop software to support new system-on-chip hardware in future products. Work with hardware engineering teams to drive future storage architecture improvement.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
