JOB TITLE: Machine Learning Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Machine Learning Engineer (REQ# 200607326) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis. Develop scalable machine learning infrastructure for applications. Build and integrate end to end lifecycles of large-scale, distributed machine learning systems. Build software that improves rate of experimentation and helps make better decisions about what to try next. Develop tools and services for improving machine learning systems beyond modeling choices. Data distribution editing, data quality improvements to support ML data usage. Architect the end-to-end platform that supports machine learning operations. Collaborate with engineers across functions to solve complex data problems at scale. Identify and evaluate new patterns and technologies to improve performance, maintainability and elegance of machine learning systems. Work with cloud data processing technologies and machine learning modeling frameworks to support application developments.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $185,752 - $214,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
