JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Data Scientist  (REQ# 200617074) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Build evaluations and metrics to quantify algorithm performance and relate them to user experience, deep-diving failure analysis, and pattern mining. Produce and present meaningful data insights with visualizations to higher-ups and across various involved teams. Use in-depth statistical analysis and large data analysis to drive actionable insights for customers. Evaluate potential features based on customer requirements to make informed decisions for internal improvements. Develop interpretation methods for machine learning models. Provide quantitative analysis of real-world trends and real customer data to understand current model and algorithm performance. Work with Python, testing expertise, knowledge of the software development cycle to understand the algorithms that Apple’s computer vision engineers developed. Creates mathematical models to project outcomes and inform strategic business decisions. Capture and analyze real customer feedback on shipped products to aid future product development and roadmap.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $148,699 - $190,900/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
