Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience negotiating and overseeing implementation of university agreements/contracts; interfacing with U.S. university professors and staff to discuss IP matters, publications and sponsored research; educating, advising and managing intellectual property; negotiating intellectual property related terms in sponsored research agreements, license agreements, and confidentiality/nondisclosure agreements; interfacing with legal counsel, IP counsel, risk management, and export control departments to ensure company is protected with liability, representation, and other legal provisions; and in executing duties, utilizing CLM/innovation management software and defining CLM best practices.
