JOB TITLE: Software Development Engineer - Applications

JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer - Applications (REQ# 200641079) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Work closely with peer team members as well as other teams across Apple on iOS, macOS, and additional embedded platforms to build and maintain software with a particular focus on embedded databases, data modeling, and applications local data caching. These responsibilities include architecting, designing, developing and maintaining Apple operating systems and framework software. Job duties include investigating issues, designing new software and tooling, and working with internal cross functional teams on issues across ORM frameworks and embedded data management. It includes reliability, security, and performance engineering in the affected software areas. It also includes liaison with external developers responsible for SQLite and other technologies as necessary.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $264,514 - $272,100/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
