Develop iOS services and features by harnessing the security architecture provided by the Secure Element. Resolve reported issues and assist other iOS engineers on the Apple Pay technology stack. Manage binary content for the Secure Element in iOS updates. Continuously develop and enhance iOS capabilities using in-depth knowledge of iOS internals and current best practices. Devise specific execution plans and timelines across teams to ensure alignment of all components. Coordinate with quality engineers to investigate and resolve gaps or flaws identified during validation. Design new public services by leveraging expertise in Secure Element internals. Translate product definitions into clear operational requirements and define the division of responsibilities among teams such as System Experience and Backend Infrastructure. Provide essential feedback on the scope and feasibility of various proposals and define expected behaviors for quality engineering validation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align deliverables, manage dependencies, and address design gaps or misinterpretations in specifications. Debug complex issues reported by testing teams or customers by leveraging knowledge of system architecture to isolate the causes of issues across components, evaluate alternatives, and execute remedies with the best risk/reward profiles. Optimize performance, efficiency, and responsiveness by using performance tracing tools to identify performance hotspots within modules. Evaluate and implement optimizations to hotspots, improve responsiveness by relocating non-critical processes, and monitor memory efficiency to conserve system resources using state-of-the-art internal tools.

The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 - $272,100/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
