JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Software Development Engineer - Systems (REQ# 200647551) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Implement software solutions leveraging wireless sensing technologies on embedded platforms various applications using Objective-C and Swift. Develop software requirements for desired use cases and utilize a detailed understanding of iOS development, its frameworks, and capabilities to architect robust and efficient solutions for these wireless sensing applications. Assist in developing features based on an understanding of the capabilities of 802.15.4- based wireless sensing. Prepare design reviews and participate in formal code review processes. Develop detailed unit and integration-level test capabilities for software per standard best practices and evaluate software performance relative to key performance metrics. Interface cross-functionally with other software and hardware teams on overall system design. Mentor other team members in software best practices.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 - $272,100/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
