DUTIES: Responsible for developing and enhancing ETL orchestration tools and frameworks. Implement complex data pipelines, data transformation and dashboards. Refactor and optimize existing data transformation. Create monitoring tools to improve the quality of the data the company processes and will work with other data scientists and train them to automate data tasks to make production-ready models.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree* in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or foreign degree equivalent; and 4 years of experience working building scalable ETL pipelines on industry standard ETL orchestration tools (such as Airflow, Dragster, and Luigi) and utilizing SQL, Python, and Spark/PySpark and 4 years of experience with version control systems (such as Git, Github) and workflows (such as PRs, CI / CD systems), and writing production-ready code.
Experience must also include 2 years of experience with Data infrastructure and modern Data orchestration tools; 2 years of experience leading data engineering development directly with business or data science stakeholders; 2 years of experience with at least one major cloud's suite of offerings (such as AWS, GCP, Azure); 2 years of experience with Data Science tools and frameworks and with machine learning principles dashboarding; 2 years of experience conducting meetings and making professional presentations, and presenting complex concepts and technical material to nontechnical users; and 2 years of experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
