JOB DESCRIPTION: APPLE INC has the following available for Data Scientist (REQ# 200659633) in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Prioritizing, planning, designing and executing analyses that have direct and measurable impact to Apple’s website. Measuring and analyzing impact of online site changes on online and offline traffic on Apple.com. Building and automating data pipelines using Teradata SQL and PIE Compute. Providing critical analysis and business insights to help inform and optimize search on Web and App. Analyzing & building dashboards for various Retail Marketing campaigns like Black Friday, Back to School, and Chinese New Year using SQL and Tableau. Working cross-functionally across - Apple Online Store, Marcom, Apple Care Digital, Apple Media Products, Retail Product Management, Retail Marketing and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning teams for Search analytics and reporting. Building & automating FTP process to send data files to different marketing & advertising agencies. Deploying scripts to PROD using version control systems like GIT. Conducting end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, recommendations and presentations for Apple.com interactive projects. Maintaining and Improvising Test analytics models in Python and analyzing chat and social data using Apple tools to understand customer sentiments and interests. Analyzing large volumes of data using Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Teradata SQL, Excel and Keynote and presenting results to diverse audiences.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $174,304 - $241,500/yr. and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
